1. Standard Sale Conditions: Final & Non-Exchangeable

To sustain our artisan-driven production, all transactions made through Maa Jugdamba Handicraft are final. We enforce a strict No Returns and No Exchanges standard.

We do not accept return or exchange requests driven by:

  • Subjective Preferences: Shifts in personal taste, change of mind, or unexpected style/color preferences.
  • Expectation Discrepancies: Variations in fabric feel, weight, or personal size assessments (please refer closely to our size charts and product descriptions before ordering).
  • Artisanal Inherent Variations: Traditional Bagru hand block printing naturally involves subtle irregularities in print alignment, dye saturation, or minor color bleeding. These nuances are not flaws; they are the unique signatures of genuine manual craftsmanship and will not be categorized as manufacturing defects.

2. Exceptions for Transit Damage or Manufacturing Defects

The only circumstance under which a replacement or return will be evaluated is if the item arrives with a verified physical manufacturing defect or severe damage incurred during transit.

3. Compulsory Unboxing Video Requirement

To protect against fraudulent claims and verify transit damage, a comprehensive, unedited parcel opening video is strictly mandatory.

To qualify for a defect or damage assessment, your video must adhere to these criteria:

  • Continuous Footage: The video must be a single, uncut recording from start to finish. Edited, paused, or compiled clips will be automatically disqualified.
  • Intact Packaging: The recording must begin before the outer courier package is breached, clearly displaying the untouched shipping label and packaging integrity.
  • Clear Inspection: The video must clearly capture the unboxing process and provide a close-up, unmistakable view of the specific damage or defect being claimed.

⚠️ Important Notice: Failure to provide a valid, unedited unboxing video matching these requirements will result in the immediate denial of your claim.

4. Timeline for Reporting Issues

Any discrepancies, structural defects, or shipping damages must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of the delivery timestamp provided by our logistics partner.

To file a claim, please submit the following to our customer care team:

  1. Your official Order ID number.
  2. The original, unaltered unboxing video.
  3. A brief written description highlighting the specific issue.

Claims initiated after the 24-hour window concludes cannot be validated or processed.

5. Review and Resolution Protocol

Upon receiving your submission, our quality control team will evaluate the video evidence. If your claim is authenticated and approved, Maa Jugdamba Handicraft will provide an appropriate remedy at our sole discretion:

  • An identical replacement product (contingent upon stock availability).
  • A comparable substitute item or a store credit voucher.
  • A monetary refund issued to your original payment channel, which typically takes 7 to 10 working days to reflect in your account post-authorization.

6. Order Cancellations

  • Pre-Dispatch: You may request an order cancellation exclusively prior to the package being handed over to our courier partners.
  • Post-Dispatch: Once an order is fulfilled and a tracking ID is generated, cancellations are entirely prohibited, and the package must proceed to its destination.

7. Shipping & Logistics Costs

  • All original shipping and handling fees applied at checkout are completely non-refundable.
  • If a return is officially authorized due to a verified defect, our support team will provide explicit instructions regarding return logistics and reverse shipping responsibilities.

8. Policy Revisions

Maa Jugdamba Handicraft retains the right to amend, update, or alter any portion of this Return & Refund Policy at our discretion without prior individual notification. All modifications become effective immediately upon being published on this platform.
